Over the past three years Parlour has become an important 'space to speak', a respected platform which provides research, resources and advocacy, as well as discussion about gender equity in architecture. Parlour has helped build demand for a more equitable profession and better work practices, and has provided resources to assist in facilitating the required changes.
NAWIC's 2015 scholarship focuses on current gender equity initiatives and hopes to translate these into visible industry changes.
