ForestOne has just unveiled its most extensive EGGER decorative collection to date, introducing 41 new EGGER decors to the Australian market. Launched at the Sydney Design Show in June 2024, this collection offers architects and interior designers an exciting array of possibilities to enhance their projects – bringing the latest European design trends directly to Aussie shores.

The new collection, the largest in ForestOne’s history, comprises 81 decors with 41 brand-new additions set to redefine the creative possibilities for architects and interior designers. 

The development of the EGGER Decorative Collection began back in November 2023, with a series of intensive colour workshops hosted across the country by ForestOne. More than 200 of Australia’s leading architects and designers gathered at these events to collaborate in curating the new collection. 

ForestOne specification representative and colour specialist Annette Fanna said: “This extensive data was meticulously gathered, analysed and aligned with current and emerging colour trends, laying the foundation for the innovative new ForestOne EGGER 2024 collection.”

A fresh palette for Australian projects

At the heart of the 2024 EGGER Collection is a stunning array of colours and finishes, each variation specifically designed to evoke a sense of passion, tranquillity and energy. The collection introduces new muted variations of red, blue and green – alongside an expanded selection of lighter oak tones – giving designers more possibilities to create spaces that speak to their distinct style.

“Tailored specifically for the Australian market, the collection embodies both current and emerging trends across multiple design sectors,” says Fanna. “Our goal was to address gaps and introduce new trending decors that were absent in our previous range, resulting in a more cohesive and diverse collection.”

These colours reflect a shift towards fresher and brighter interiors, moving away from the monochrome schemes that have dominated the Australian design landscape in recent years.

The collection’s colour palette is versatile, offering something for every project, whether residential or commercial. Designers can now specify the soft elegance of Antique Rose, the bold statement of Garnet Red, or the calming influence of Ocean Blue. These hues are perfect for creating spaces that are both sophisticated and inviting, making them ideal for everything from modern apartment interiors to high-end commercial fit-outs.

In addition to these vibrant colours, the collection also features a range of neutral tones, such as Carat Beige, Taupe Grey and Almond Beige. These versatile shades provide the perfect backdrop for any design, allowing other elements of a space to shine while maintaining a cohesive and stylish aesthetic.

Innovative decors to inspire

But the 2024 EGGER Decorative Collection is not just about colour – it’s also about texture and materiality. Among the standout additions are new woodgrains like Brown Warmia Walnut, which offers a warm and rich tone with darker highlights, and Sand Orleans Oak, a light, versatile option perfect for use in both traditional and contemporary settings.

For those seeking something more unique, the collection also includes decors like Anthracite Candela Marble, which blends the appearance of marble and concrete for a modern, industrial look, and Bronze Brushed Metal, a warm, sanded-metal finish that adds a touch of luxury to any space. These variations are designed to inspire creativity by giving designers the tools they need to craft environments that are both functional and visually stunning.

Sustainability at the core

ForestOne’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in the 2024 EGGER Decorative Collection. The new particleboard used in the collection now consists of 76 percent recycled content, reflecting its dedication to helping designers ‘Specify Responsibly’. This emphasis on sustainability ensures that the collection not only meets the aesthetic needs of the modern designer but also aligns with the growing demand for environmentally conscious materials.

With its blend of European trends, innovative materials and a commitment to sustainability, this collection is poised to become a staple in Australian design.
