The RMIT Design Hub team will be hosting the closing celebration of the short film production, Chicks on Speed: Scream, on Tuesday 4 March. It pre-premieres the director’s cut of the short film ‘Golden Gang’ for the project ‘Der Stachel des Skorpions Ein Cadavre exquis’ based on Luis Buñuel’s iconic film L’Âge d’Or (‘The Golden Age’).

Munich-based artist group M+M invited a total of six artists and groups to each remake a different scene from Buñuel’s short film. The project is supported by Villa Stuck and Bundeskulturstiftung, Germany.

The closing celebration of this production will be followed by a question time with the artists. There will also be a live media-art performance with students from the School of Fashion & Textiles and the School of Media & Communications.
