The finalists of the 2014 Innovation and Excellence Awards have been announced. The awards honour innovation and leading practice within Australia’s property development and investment industries.

Presented by the Property Council of Australia and Rider Levett Bucknall, this year’s awards celebrates a year of outstanding projects across 16 different categories.

“Our industry’s commitment to excellence and innovation is reconfirmed again this year, with 83 outstanding finalists vying for awards in 16 categories,” says Nathan Paine, chief commercial officer of the Property Council.

“The industry has put forward some truly world-class projects, ranging from the grandstand at Royal Randwick Racecourse to the soaring tower of Brookfield Place Perth, and from the Medibank Icehouse ice sports venue in Melbourne to the Queen Elizabeth II law courts in Brisbane,” adds Paine.

This year’s award winners will be announced at the 2014 Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards Gala Dinner, held in Sydney on Saturday 17 May.
