One of our favourite clients is on the look-out for a talented, experienced project architect (registered in NSW) to join their mid-sized studio for the long term!

A sociable and friendly team of architects and interior designers who are super passionate about the work they do. Having had a fantastic start to the year, with lots of exciting work on the books, they can offer a permanent role to the right person with plenty of room to progress into associate level positions.

Projects include a mix of multi-unit residential, hospitality, private housing, commercial and sustainable design. In this role, you will have the opportunity to get involved on high-end medium density multi-unit residential, hospitality and housing projects. Previous experience working on these types of projects will be highly regarded. You will have fantastic all-round involvement with the freedom to run your own team and jobs.

You will be working from preliminary design through to construction, reporting to the director throughout and attending site visits. Moderate ability in using Revit and SketchUp will be sufficient but a willingness to be hands on when needed will be expected from you. Solid experience in project coordination and understanding of financials/budgeting along with excellent communication and time management skills will be needed.

You will be a natural leader, able to manage your team of staff and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive, polished and professional demeanour will fit well with this forward thinking studio!! Initially you may be required to manage some of the studio’s interior architecture projects so experience in this area would also be of great interest.

Salary for this role will very much depend on the level of experience and capability of the applicant but may range from $90k plus superannuation.
