A prominent Melbourne office fitout company located in the south-eastern suburbs have an immediate opportunity for an experienced interior designer who can confidently produce conceptual designs and space plan with a keen eye for detailing. With joiners on site this role has the added allure of enabling you to realise your designs and to manipulate prototypes.

Reporting directly to the design manager the successful candidate will act as a 2IC, taking a proactive approach in assisting in the managing of projects when required. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills, and be clear and articulate in both verbal and written communications. The ability to confidently liaise with and understand the needs of the client in order to deliver design solutions that meet their expectation and budget is desired along with software skills in AutoCAD.

Any additional skills in ArchiCAD, Rhino, SketchUp or 3D visualisation will be looked upon favourably. To be successful you will possess strong industry knowledge and have a good understanding of current design trends in order to deliver all clients the best-fit solution in line with their budgets.
