We are currently working on a fantastic role for a small but very well established, successful practice based in Sydney’s northern suburbs.

This team has a busy workload spanning across Multi-unit residential, aged care developments, luxury houses, master-planning, commercial, industrial and community-based projects, they do not turn away from any type of work! A collaborative team with a great appreciation for sustainability and quality design.

Recently, they feel that they are missing a Senior Architect with the experience and leadership skills to really shake up the office and drive the business forward?

With a relaxed studio atmosphere based in a busy suburb of North Sydney, this is a wonderful opportunity for an Architect who wants to work from start to completion on a range of different projects and get the involvement that they have studied and trained hard to do!

In order to be considered for this permanent role, you will need to have at least 8 years previous local experience in the Architectural industry with solid experience in running projects, good leadership skills and being hands on with documentation. Ideally, we are looking for ArchiCAD skills as this company will transition from Vectorworks in the next coming months. It would be a great bonus if you are willing to pass on your knowledge of ArchiCAD and assist in the training of other staff members although this is certainly not a BIM manager role?

We are open to project types as long as your design skills and technical knowledge/understanding of the BCA/AU standards are strong. You will also have the opportunity to contribute and work on design alongside the practice director.

A great opportunity to take ownership of projects, help in the running of the office and develop your skills. Although they are a small office of 6, there is plenty of room to grow into a partner/associate role and this what the Director here very much hopes for?

This is a long term role and salary will range from $85,000 Per annum plus Super depending on your experience and skills.
