The design process for Gruyere Farm focused on restraint and authenticity, celebrating natural light, honest materials and the relationship between the interiors and local Victorian landscape. Textural elements such as recycled timber, slate, terrazzo and raw brass echo the rugged beauty of the surrounding Yarra Valley, grounding the home in place.
