The project, entitled Silo, aims to revive and reinvent the look of Gorge Road – epitomising the early European industrial style – and transform it into a creative and urban hub.
The owners of the Yarra Street House, a professional couple with a large, combined family, wanted a contemporary addition to their suburban weatherboard cottage which would allow them to indulge in their love of gardening and allow them to cook and entertain in style.
A lightweight addition by Christopher Polly extrapolates and subverts the existing geometries of Cosgriff House.
