Sydney’s design precinct will transform into a one-night playground of design, food and connection for ‘Future Future’ next month.
Sydney’s design community is set to gather on 4 September 2025 for the return of The 69 O’Riordan Collective, an annual showcase of high-end contemporary design that transforms Alexandria’s design precinct into a festival of ideas, food and conversation.

Now in its fourth year, the event brings together more than 600 architects, interior designers, specifiers and creatives across 12 showrooms, each curating its own immersive experience under the forward-looking theme ‘Future Future’.
Beyond design, guests can expect a feast of flavours. Coulisse will pair its award-winning innovations in smart shading with a playful twist on waffle catering, while KE-ZU adds a vibrant Vietnamese menu to its showroom showcase. New Age Veneers, one of the first stops of the night, will host a grazing table of antipasto and timber-inspired cocktails, nodding to its core surface products.

About Space will serve wines from Alpha Box & Dice, alongside chips from Zeus Street Greek, while Casa Mia brings warm hospitality with Italian-inspired cocktails and a curated selection of canapés. The showroom will also launch new upholstery and case goods, offering an insight into their bespoke manufacturing processes and craftsmanship.
Meanwhile, Zepel and James Dunlop & Mokum will collaborate with Buller Wines for a curated bar experience. Zepel will tempt visitors with sweet, red-themed treats, while Mokum will set the scene for a tropical resort-inspired launch of its Soleil Voyage collection.

As always, design remains the hero. Highlights include Coulisse’s Absolute Silence motorisation system, fresh from winning Best of the Best at R+T Asia, and The Metz Group’s showcase of photovoltaic glass and high-performance façades. Cosh Living, About Space, The Textile Company and Cotswold Furniture will also unveil new collections spanning lighting, textiles, outdoor living and more.

“The Collective really comes alive at this event,” Cosh Living’s Annabel Tucker says. “[It’s] a first look at what’s coming up in furniture, fabrics and finishes… all matched with a great atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks.”
KE-ZU co-owner Caron Grunschlag adds, “The 69 O’Riordan Collective event provides a key moment for networking and industry connection, bringing together old friends and new opportunities for designers, architects and specifiers to build relationships and discover what’s next in design.”

With live music, interactive activations and a program designed to surprise, The 69 O’Riordan Collective has become a landmark on Sydney’s design calendar.
