‘Seerosen’ is the German term for waterlilies, reflecting Heidi’s heritage and the influence of her father, who imparted traditional techniques of gilding and marquetry. Each piece of veneer is hand-cut and assembled, portraying fish swimming gracefully among water lilies, utilising gold leaf to accentuate the beauty beneath the water’s surface.
