A Sense of Occasion, presented by Thomas Maxam Studio for Melbourne Design Week 2026, brought together 20 Australian designers and studios. Recasting the champagne bucket beyond its functional role, the exhibition positioned it as a conduit for experience – an object that holds not just ice, but memory, atmosphere and intent.
