Kooyongkoot Residence is a major renovation of a heritage-listed Victorian house in Hawthorn, rebuilt within its external shell to support contemporary family life. Colour is used to distinguish the original rooms and rear extension, combining limewash, patina, darker front rooms and softer living spaces into a layered interior whole.
