An enormous paper lantern made from recycled books glows across the length of Readings Chadstone in Melbourne. Identifying potential within the vast number of misprinted books sent for pulping, the design team developed new processes for fabricating paper, inspired by the ancient Japanese technique of Nagashi-zuki, used for washi paper.
