This longstanding motel in Flinders, Victoria was given a colourful neo expressionist treatment, balancing the raw texture of the original brickwork with bold applications of colour and texture. The design references artist Pasquale Giardino, whose signature use of primary hues captures the energy of Melbourne’s 1980s art scene.
