This redesign of family-owned Italian restaurant Chianti respects longstanding features while softening interiors with acoustics, lighting, textual ceramics and intricate linocut prints. In line with heritage limitations of the original 1985 build, the space is sectioned through dividing joinery, banquette seating and utilising the existing double-sided fireplace and rock walls.
Bringing Australia’s architecture and design community into focus since 2009.
