An immersive night of design, connection and innovation returns under the theme ‘Future Future’.
Niche Media is proud to partner with one of Sydney’s design scene’s most anticipated industry events, as The 69 O’Riordan Collective returns for its fourth annual showcase on 4 September 2025.
Held at the vibrant design precinct of Level One, 69 O’Riordan Street, Alexandria, the event draws more than 600 architects, interior designers, specifiers and creatives for an evening of discovery, connection and conversation.
This year’s event, under the theme ‘Future Future’, will offer a bold, multi-sensory exploration of what’s next in design across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
The 69 O’Riordan Collective has cemented itself as a premier destination for Sydney’s design and architecture community. With 12 showrooms under one roof, the precinct showcases a comprehensive range of high-end interior products and finishes, including lighting, textiles, tiles, indoor and outdoor furniture, bespoke creations and window treatments.
Brands include About Space, Blu Dot, Casa Mia, Cosh Living, Cotswold Furniture, Coulisse, James Dunlop and Mokum, KE-ZU, Metz, New Age Veneers, The Textile Company and Zepel.
“We are excited to partner with The 69 O’Riordan Collective and bring the fourth edition of the event to life under the ‘Future Future’ theme,” Niche Media marketing coordinator Alvin Wu says. “We look forward to showcasing the latest innovations of 13 brands across the Collective with the architecture and design community.”
From its origins as a neighbourly collaboration between showrooms in 2022, the event has grown into a vibrant collective that celebrates the breadth and depth of local and international design.
“This year Niche Media will be elevating the event with a boldness not seen before, as it continues to build momentum as a standout industry event that places community, creativity and conversation at its heart,” KE-ZU co-owner Caron Grunschlag says.
Each showroom will deliver its own immersive experience, with live music, curated food and drinks, and interactive installations transforming the precinct into a festival-like atmosphere.
“The event reflects the creative energy of the industry it celebrates – collaborative, innovative and genuinely welcoming,” Grunschlag says.
Among this year’s highlights, Cotswold Furniture is set to present a curated selection of outdoor collections, including the highly anticipated return of its teak range alongside new pieces from European brands Vincent Sheppard and FAST Outdoor.
“This is where the best in Sydney design comes together – a true one-stop shop for design professionals looking to source, specify and be inspired,” Cotswold Furniture’s Victoria Vlasova says. “Whether you’re designing a residential retreat or a large-scale commercial space, this event brings everything you need into one place.”
Over at The Textile Company, the showroom will be transformed with colour and texture, providing a relaxed environment for exploring new fabric and wallcovering collections and ideas. Brand and product coordinator Isla Laven describes the event as a rare opportunity to experience multiple showrooms in one night, discover trends and make lasting connections.
“Each showroom will offer something unique. Come ready to explore, connect and be inspired. It’s going to be a night to remember,” Laven says.
Technological innovation will also take centre stage. Coulisse invites the industry to experience the Absolute Silence smart shading system, an award-winning concept recently named ‘Best of the Best’ at R+T Asia in Shanghai for its groundbreaking innovation in acoustic comfort and quiet motorisation.
Lighting specialists About Space will unveil new products from its Melbourne-based design team alongside exclusive European brands. “We are lighting up the complex to bring the theme to life,” says Natalie Koutisikas, marketing team leader at About Space.
Meanwhile, Cosh Living is preparing a showcase of fresh releases that reflect the spirit of experimentation and forward-thinking design.
“The Collective really comes alive at this event, putting forward a showcase of new and innovative activations and releases for the trade community,” Cosh Living marketing manager Annabel Tucker says.
“We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s interpretation of ‘Future Future’ and what each brand presents with this theme. It will be a first look at what’s coming up in furniture, fabrics and finishes, offering a glimpse into the future, all matched with a great atmosphere and fantastic food and drinks.”
