Lois Turner: Keeping Track(s)

October 15, 2009

Paintings by Lois Turner promoting Breast Cancer Awareness and raising money for the McGrath Foundation.

Contemporary artist Lois Turner’s latest exhibition, ‘Keeping Track(s)’, creatively explores a number of issues specific to women who are currently living in remote and indigenous communities.

Turner is a breast cancer survivor, and takes a proactive role in promoting breast cancer awareness through the visual arts. Through her collection of striking abstract paintings, Lois hopes to impact the outcome of women in indigenous communities by donating a portion of every painting sold to the McGrath Foundation, which supports McGrath Breast Care Nurses in rural and regional Australia.
