A series of temporary urban art interventions taking place in the City of Sydney as part of the Art & About event.

The temporary public art program brings together the City of Sydney’s commitment to nurturing creativity in Sydney and to providing programs to enliven the City’s laneways and forgotten spaces.

Eight exciting and innovative proposals have been selected by Curator and urban designer Dr Steffen Lehmann and the Evaluation Panel. Each project focuses on collaboration, sustainability and the changing role of public spaces, and has been created by interdisciplinary teams including artists; architects, urban designers, landscape architects, and others such as musicians, poets, a scientist and a lawyer.
