Greenpeace Design Awards

Be a part of the Greenpeace action

In recognition of the strong role visual communication plays in Greenpeace campaigns, Greenpeace has established the Greenpeace Awards.
Hosted by Greenpeace Australia Pacific and UniLife Inc, the awards recognise the most innovative individuals whose creative work best represents and expresses the Greenpeace values.
The competition brief called for designers to create a poster that delivers the message ‘Be a Part of the Action’ – although this does not have to be expressed in words.
Entrants have the opportunity to bring about real change in society, as the winning design may be used in an upcoming Greenpeace campaign and applied to a variety of media such as campaign posters, t-shirts, banners, flyers or newsletters.

Winners, highly commended and shortlisted entries will be listed on the Greenpeace Design Awards website and exhibited at the Civic Gallery in Adelaide from 2 July to 4 August 2009. The Civic Gallery will also host an awards ceremony on Friday 31 July, where winners will be presented with a unique trophy.
