BER and the practice of architecture

The Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Australian Government’s BER Taskforce discuss the implications of the project’s findings on the future of the construction industry.

The Association of Consulting Architects Queensland invite hosts the second of its 2011 monthly forums on Friday 20 May.

This forum includes a lunch seminar at the Brisbane Polo Club, with guest speakers Brad Orgill and David Chandler OAM, Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively of the Australian Government BER Implementation Taskforce.

Orgill and Chandler will discuss the findings of the Taskforce and its implications for the future of government capital works projects and the broader construction industry. In particular, they will review the effects of procurement decisions on the outcomes achieved by the BER program.
