The 12th annual Sustainable Living Festival takes place across Melbourne, with the Big Weekend held at Federation Square from 18-20 February.

The 12th annual Sustainable Living Festival takes place across Melbourne from 12-27 February, promoting leading solutions to the ecological and social challenges we face.

The 2011 program of events engages with individuals and communities across Australia, reaching the cities, suburbs and streets of the nation.

The festival’s *Big Weekend* takes place at Federation Square in Melbourne from 18-20 February, celebrating the best examples of sustainable design with workshops, talks, demonstrations, artworks, exhibitions, films and live performances. The ["Green House":http://festival.slf.org.au/program/greenhouse] – which will be set up at Birrarung Marr on 18-20 February – will form the heart of the Big Weekend, hosting eco-forums, comedy and music to accompany the diverse program of sustainability events.

A five-day program of sustainability events will be hosted at ["BMW Edge":http://festival.slf.org.au/program/edge], while family events will be held at ["Artplay":http://festival.slf.org.au/program/artplay] in Birrarung Marr. A ["Green Market":http://festival.slf.org.au/currentexhibitors] will promote sustainable living, with over 100 exhibitors participating in the event which runs at Fed Square from 18-20 February.
