The second projectFIND competition is looking for socially responsible projects to improve the San Diego community.

Created by non-profit organisation Rebuild Global, the second annual projectFIND Design Competition is seeking submissions from all socially responsible designers for projects that improve the community in San Diego, California.

Rebuild Global continues with the effort to create a shift in the way designers collectively think about and act upon the challenges in their communities. The objective of the competition is to inspire, educate and reach out to local San Diego residents and visitors as well as build global, environmental and artistic awareness throughout our city.

The challenge is open to anyone or any group of passionate and talented individuals to conceptualise potential socially responsible projects. Projects can range in scope and scale with the winning entry selected by a panel of judges who share an overall commitment to our environment.

*Submissions close on 3 December 2010*
