Melbourne Open House 2010

June 16, 2010

A two-day event opening the doors of over 60 of Melbourne’s most iconic buildings.

Melbourne Open House returns in 2010 with a free two-day event covering over 60 of Melbourne’s iconic buildings.

The event aims to foster an appreciation and understanding of the value of architecture, urban design and design excellence in Melbourne. Building on the success of last year, which saw over 50,000 visits to 32 buildings, this year the event has been extended to two days.

On 24-25 July 2010, Melbourne Open House 2010 will open the doors to Melbourne’s most iconic buildings, giving visitors a chance to explore a diverse range of the city’s architecture.

The program includes Gardens in the Sky – giving the public access to some of Melbourne’s best urban design projects on top of buildings, with some spectacular views over the city. A new children’s program ensures the event is family friendly.
