Furnitex 2010 & Decoration + Design Melbourne

Australia’s largest showcase for local and international furniture design, soft furnishings and interior suppliers.

Furnitex, Australasia’s largest furniture and furnishings trade fair, and the co-located Decoration + Design Melbourne will return to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 15–18 July 2010.

Now in its eighth year, *Furnitex* sees the largest showcase of Australian manufacturers in the world, with previous leading exhibitors H&H Collection, Globe West, Vixen & Velvet and Colby Furniture returning to exhibit alongside first timers Ruby Star Traders and HorganS.

*Decoration + Design* presents an unparalleled range of soft furnishings and interior suppliers from Australia and around the world. Exhibitors include Ruby Star Traders, Clinton Friedman, and OB Collection from Orson & Blake designers David and Mandy Heimann.

Highlights of the events include:
* *VIVID – Vibrant Visions in Design*, the prestigious furniture design competition. Categories include Commercial, Concept, Student and Green.
* The *International Industry Seminar Series*, with a world-class line up of international and Australian presenters.
* The Material Inspirations feature at Decoration + Design, entitled *Paper Trail*. This display will showcase the diversity of the wall covering industry. Tracing the path of wallpaper trends from archival to contemporary bespoke digital, it will inspire with interactive walls and futuristic concepts in spaces created by leading Australian designers.
