Based in Santiago, Mathias Klotz is one of the most prolific and exciting young architects working in South America today.

Klotz has achieved international recognition for his residential, commercial and public architecture – designing houses, hotels, conference centres and schools which are spacious, precise and elegant, utilising local materials and technology. His work encompasses a concern for the environment, local history and culture and a strong sense of place.

Mathias Klotz will launch the Dean’s Lecture Series with a visual presentation of his recent works and discussion of his architectural practice and vision.
