2015 has seen B&B Italia re-visit some of their most iconic collections, including the Husk series designed by Patricia Urquiola.

Originally released in 2012, the Husk chair quickly became one of B&B Italia’s most well-known products. Over time the Husk family has grown to include a bed, sofa, side tables, armchairs and dining chairs for both indoor and outdoor. The original chair was the result of a long development process to create a versatile armchair that is both unique in its own right and able to complement even the most classic sofas.

The new Husk ’15 chair collection includes several new versions which extend its use and change the perception of the piece. The base can now be in oak wood (light, black, grey and smoked), or with a four-star base in aluminium, with or without castors, in a wide range of finishes. The shell uses high density polyurethane resin, which creates a contrast to the softness of the padded seat.

B&B Italia now offer a Husk chair designed specifically with the contract sector in mind, a chair that is versatile enough to work in an office, public space or dining area, as well as working comfortably into a home environment.
