Beni Ourain-style carpets from Weylandts

July 11, 2014

Originally used as bedding for winter warmth, these double-knot, un-dyed carpets are made from 100 percent wool.

The thick Beni Ourain-style carpets from Weylandts are a warm and welcoming addition to any interior. They are inspired by classic wool rugs that were handmade by the Berber tribes of the North-Eastern Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco.

Originally used as bedding for winter warmth, these double-knot, un-dyed carpets are made from 100 percent wool. Natural. The way we like. Most of the carpets come in heavy cream or off-white piles with geometric diamond patterns. Each piece is unique, with its own handwriting.
