March 1, 2014

Amélie, a contemporary interpretation of the traditional claw-foot bath, was inspired by a traditional chaise longue ‘the Méridienne’, an asymmetrical daybed with higher headrest and lower footrest.

Amélie, a contemporary interpretation of the traditional claw-foot bath, was inspired by a traditional chaise longue ‘the Méridienne’, an asymmetrical daybed with higher headrest and lower footrest. The clean lines and fine edges provide a sense of lightness, while the lounge-like head support promotes comfort and relaxation. The single piece is manufactured in durable Lucite acrylic, with stainless steel legs.

Amélie is complimented by Pirch, a furniture collection comprising of a Bath Bridge & Side Table. Pirch is handcrafted from American Black Walnut by a local fine furniture craftsman and complimented with Solid Surface inserts. The timber is enhanced by a matte seal finish preventing moisture damage, while the solid surface inserts provide a durable platform avoiding stains.
