Sir and Lady chairs from Poliform

March 3, 2014

There couldn’t be a better marriage of design than that of the ‘Sir’ and ‘Lady’ armchairs produced by a successful collaboration between Marco Zanuso and Arflex.

There couldn’t be a better marriage of design than that of the ‘Sir’ and ‘Lady’ armchairs.

A collaboration between Marco Zanuso and Arflex, the ‘Sir’ chair was designed in 1949 and is a representative piece from the historical Arflex archives. It has used the perfect balance of design, comfort and elegance to be one of Arflex’s signature pieces for more than sixty years.

The ‘Lady’ was also a collaboration between designer Zanuso and Arflex. Created in 1951, consisting of single units that were then upholstered, cover and then assembled separately, the ‘Lady’ has gone on to become one of Arflex’s most successful and iconic pieces.

The ‘Sir’ and ‘Lady’ armchairs are available in fabric or leather, and with a choice of metal, aluminum colour, black or gold base.

Available exclusively at Poliform.
