As the pioneer in linear drainage, Stormtech stays at the head of innovative design in its latest collaboration with Marc Newson, bringing a fresh eye on the humble shower drain.

After 20 years as specialists in narrow stainless steel trench drainage solutions for bathrooms, showers, pool surrounds, paved areas, courtyards, balconies and other wet areas, Stormtech continues to innovate and update its drainage solutions. Since its creation Stormtech has been strongly involved with architects and designers to adapt its products to emerging trends.

In 2013 Stormtech will launch a new range of grates designed by Marc Newson. With this new range, Stormtech in collaboration with Marc Newson are aiming to broaden the perceptions of the traditional grate through new technology. First release in June 2013 is a new decorative grate incorporating Newson’s signature tessellated hexagonal pattern. The design offers a creative solution to a very functional object, lending itself to both a contemporary or traditional environment. The grate will be constructed of substantial 12 gauge stainless steel and be available in five finish options: satin stainless steel, polished stainless steel, oil-rubbed bronze, powder.
