Designed by Justin Hutchinson for the Tongue + Groove Design Refinery, the Refinery daybed is a comfortable sofa that doubles as a bed.

The Refinery daybed is flexible, with a seat back that can be moved or removed completely. The frame is constructed from solid hardwood with subtle angles and the seat is supported by timber slats for durable support. The daybed is available in two sizes.

First established in 2008, the Design Refinery is a collective of Melbourne-based designers Justin Hutchinson, Ross Hines, Ivan Mattucci, Lex Stobie, Rock Martin and Kevin O’Connor. The group pool resources and skills, creating a range of furniture that is available through Tongue + Groove.
