The Ane stool is a new design from Troy Backhouse, a product and furniture designer based in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

Made from solid timber with a powder-coated steel frame, the design features a curving seat formed by a series of CNC-cut wooden slats that rest on the steel frame. Each of the wooden slats used to form the seat are a different length, cut in a dynamic way to create an elegant shape to the seat and adding refined detail to the simple stool.
