Testfit augmented reality mobile app by Luxmy Furniture

July 29, 2016

Pokémon Go has become one of the largest mobile games in the world with users spending more time on it than social media. Using a similar Augmented Reality technology, Luxmy Furniture has developed innovative mobile application Testfit.

Testfit is the first Australian commercial furniture app to use AR technology to showroom. Director of Luxmy Furniture, Priyanka Rao, believes “Augmented reality technology is the future of showrooming” with apps such as TestFit able to bring a catalogue to life and reimagine a space in real time.

Through Testfit, users can visualise Luxmy’s catalogue from in-house brands Woodmark and Lux Studio in any location through the mobile device’s camera.

All furniture can be previewed in 360° and multiple products can be added or deleted to fit the design intent. These layouts can be saved and shared.

TestFit is available free for download on iPhone, iPad or Android devices. Click here to try it yourself!
