Gitt coffee table Hay Design Studio

The idea behind the Gitt coffee table is to lift a table top 44cm from the floor in a discrete, simple and aesthetic manner. Frame and table top are worked out in high quality materials and emphasis has been put on finish and details.

The angle of the edge on the table top for instance, is designed to make the table top seem thinner and lighter than it really is while still keeping the stability of a thicker table top.

Gitt is dedicated to one of the first HAY employees, Gitte Bostrup, who still works for the company. Like her the table has three arms.

Table tops are available in black linoleum, white laminate, oak veneer or walnut veneer.
