An innovative technology from Locker Group, Pic Perf recreates striking images and signage on a perforated metal surface.

Pic Perf from Locker Group is an innovative way of creating striking images in perforated metal. The technology allows detailed images to be depicted on a metal surface, using hundreds of different sized holes punched through the metal. The process can be used to create durable, image-based building facades or stand-out signage, incorporating an aesthetic element into a functional installation.

HASSELL’s multi award winning work on the redevelopment of the Adelaide Zoo utilised Pic Perf at the entrance to welcome visitors and provide an introduction to some of the zoo’s inhabitants. The combination of imagery and inspiration was captured in the fencing to invite visitors into the zoo and connect the gardens with the surrounding parkland.

Locker Group’s Pic Perf captured the images provided by HASSELL and recreated them within the perforated metal, creating an indelible impression.
