Serif and La Nina

July 18, 2012

Charles Wilson releases two new long-awaited designs.

Two new furniture pieces by Charles Wilson cement the Sydney-based designer’s reputation as one of Australia’s finest. His Serif aluminium powder-coated stool was originally launched as a prototype at the Interpretations exhibition, organised by Vert Design‘s Andrew Simpson, in 2011. It is now in production and available from Space Furniture. The counter-height version (shown above in yellow) will be available within a few months.

The La Nina side table is also on its way. With three slender legs set in one corner, the table has been designed to conveniently cantilever over a sofa or armchair. As with Serif, it is also made of aluminium, and is finished with polyurethane paint.
