Butterfly chair

March 18, 2009

By Angelucci 20th Century, this chair is incredibly versatile.

The design for this simple, durable and iconic chair, dating from 1938, is attributed to South American Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy.
Although applied for, a patent was never achieved due to its roots in earlier historical models, and it was subsequently produced in the millions throughout the mid 20th century.
The Butterfly chair can be placed indoors or out. The stainless steel frame is available in either a brushed or powdercoat finish. Leather covers use a natural vegetable dye process and are available in black, chocolate or saddle. The all-weather canvas covers are available in a range of colours to suit either contemporary or period colour schemes.
Angelucci 20th Century makes the Butterfly chair in Australia from quality materials, and deliver Australia-wide.
