Full moon + hybrid chairs

March 31, 2011

Two new designs from Justin Lamont from LifeSpaceJourney.

The Full Moon and Hybrid chairs are the latest designs to be created by Justin Lamont, one half of the Melbourne design duo behind LifeSpaceJourney.

The Full Moon chair features a bent sheet of steel supported by turned timber legs. The powder-coated seat adds a colourful note to the playful design, which also features a circular cut-out that mimicks the shape of the full moon, giving the chair its name.

The Hybrid chair is an addition to the alphabet stool, also designed by Lamont. The steel seat is angular in form, with folds and cut-outs in the metal sheet giving the design an industrial edge.

LifeSpaceJourney is a design partnership run by brothers Justin and Glenn Lamont.
