Sunday chair

January 19, 2011

Inspired by long, lazy Sundays, Jardan’s latest design balances a solid timber frame with gently curving forms.

Jardan’s Sunday chair is inspired by those lazy days you wished would never end.

Designed by Nick Garnham and Rod Carlson, Sunday features a smooth, solid American oak frame and a gently curving seat and back rest.

Using environmentally sustainable kiln-dried hardwood, eco-plywood and shaped steel construction, the chair is crafted using traditional timber and steel manufacturing techniques and water-based glues. Sunday is made to order fully upholstered in selected fabric, with plain seam stitching detail.

Melbourne-based Jardan is a family owned and run company, offering a range of solid timber and upholstered furniture.
