Viridian Architectural Glass Guide

January 13, 2011

A comprehensive reference tool detailing the full range of glass types available in the architecture market.

Australian glass manufacturer, Viridian, has launched the 2011 Viridian Architectural Glass Guide: a 128-page resource detailing the full range of glass types on the market.

The updated guide, last compiled in 2007, is designed as a resource for architects, detailing hundreds of combinations of glass types – categorised by their primary application.

The guide covers facades, interiors and glazing systems along with solar and thermal performance ratings, and information about colour, transparency and reflectivity. Establishing how glass behaves in the case of accidental or intentional breakage is also important – and the guide draws attention to strength recommendations for glass in loading and glazing zones, ensuring the selected product is fit for purpose.

The Viridian Architectural Glass Guide can now be downloaded from ["www.viridianglass.com.au":http://www.viridianglass.com.au/default.aspx] or can be requested from Viridian by calling 1800 810403.
