Emily Tea Set

November 16, 2010

A hand-made ceramic tea set featuring gentle curves, made by Sydney-based The Evie Group.

The Emily Tea Set is a range of hand-made ceramic glazed teacups, milk jug and sugar pot with lid.

The delicate collection features gentle curves and sloping angles that encourage the user to hold the cup in two hands. The neutral white finish complements the organic form of each of the pieces, creating a timeless collection.

The Emily Tea Set is part of the collection from the Evie Group, a small Sydney-based company established in 2010 by designers Alex Gilmour and Dominic Chong. The Evie Group produces a range of homewares and accessories, and will grow to encompass product and graphic design in 2011. Alex recently won the Industrial Design category at the 2010 Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards (SOYA).
