Tio chair

A collection of wire chairs and tables designed by Chris Martin for Massproductions.

Chris Martin, former assistant to Jasper Morrison, has designed the first furniture collection for Massproductions. Called ‘Tio’, the collection consists of chairs and tables made from steel wire, designed to be used both indoors and outdoors.

The parts for the chair are produced in a computer controlled wire bending machine before being manually assembled and welded in place. This collection also includes bar stools and bar tables and offers a selection of table top materials. The Tio range is made from galvanised metal wire covered with a polyester powder coat and is available in four colours.

Massproductions is a Stockholm-based furniture company founded by British designer Chris Martin and Swede Magnus Elebäck. The company’s first collection was launched in early 2009.
