Designed by Ross Didier, Fable is a range of six essential, pared-back pieces inspired by traditional children’s tales.

Fable: think simple.

Designed by Ross Didier, Fable is a collection of six essential utilities: a spoon, a bowl, a stool, a chair, a table, and a storage cabinet. Pared back and with little embellishment, these pieces explore the basic needs of a simplified living space.

Each of the pieces in the Fable collection recall the humble objects familiar to traditional children’s tales, and are inspired by the idea that a woodsman has simply stepped outside and hand carved a collection of functional timber items. The simple setting and the traditions of the children’s tale have been reinterpreted, and designed for modern day function. Crafted from solid oak, the difficult manufacturing details are disguised within a simplified aesthetic.
