City Lights Blackboard

June 17, 2010

Designed by Ute, this stencil art blackboard brings some fun to your daily reminders.

The City Lights Blackboard is the latest creation from Melbourne-based design studio, Ute. Designed to bring some fun to the daily reminders and household communications, the stencil art blackboard doubles as a piece of wall art.

The cityscape design is cut out of the sticker using water jet technology, bringing the cityscape to light using the colour of your wall.

Inspired by Melbourne’s stencil art graffiti, the blackboard is a collaborative project by Kain Lucas and David Potts.

Made from adhesive vinyl film, available in two sizes: 100x60cm and 60x45cm.

Ute Design will launch the City Lights Blackboard at Design: Made: Trade, part of Victoria’s State of Design Festival. The design will also be on sale at the Melbourne Design Market in July.
