Peg Stool

May 12, 2010

Designed by John Wardle, the new Peg Stool now features one stool nesting inside another.

The Peg Stool, designed by award winning architect John Wardle, has been updated to reduce waste material and add value to the original design.

Made from plywood, the Peg Stool now features one stool nesting inside another. Exploring the theme of extruded forms and efficient use of materials, the plywood is cut and stacked to reveal the striations of colour creating a striking and functional piece. The two pieces can alternatively be used as a stool and table, and stack neatly together, reducing storage space.
