Moorilla Table

May 6, 2010

A new design from furniture designer Laura McCusker, the Moorilla Table features an elegantly finished timber top with contrasting coloured legs.

The elegant design of the Moorilla Tables features solid timber tops, handmade using traditional joinery techniques to create a simple, clean finish. The delicate, uncomplicated tables are produced in a range of timber finishes with optional contrasting coloured legs.

The Moorilla Tables are a new design, created by Tasmania-based furniture maker and designer Laura McCusker.

Earlier this year, McCusker was named one of 25 of the best object designers in the world in the German _Faces of Design_ awards. In 2009 she was selected by Melbourne architects Fender Katsalidis as one of the featured designers for Hobart’s new ultra chic MONA pavilions at Moorilla Estate.

Her designs will be on display at Design:Made:Trade at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne from 14-18 July 2010, as part of Victoria’s State of Design festival.
