PBS tables and benches

November 10, 2011

Sydney studio Koskela have designed a flexible and customisable collection of tables and benches, featuring a fluoro powdercoated leg design.

The PBS tables and benches are a new furniture series designed by Russel Koskela and Sasha Titchkosky of Sydney-based design studio, Koskela. Part of Koskela’s new Studio range, PBS is a flexible series of tables and benches that add a flash of colour to a residential or commercial setting – whether it is used as a dining table and benches, or meeting table in an office.

The standout feature of the PBS series is a vibrant powdercoated steel connector system that attaches the table/bench legs to the table top and bench seat. The connectors are available in Koskela’s studio colours – including fluoro red and yellow, hot pink, black and white – and are easily attached to the rail under the table, which means the collection can be delivered flat-packed.

PBS has been created with flexibility and customisation in mind: it can be specified in standard sizes, or alternatively tailored to suit one particular setting. The table can be produced with round or rectangular legs, while the solid pine can be swapped for timber veneer or laminate.

Koskela are temporarily based at a pop-up showroom at 57 Macleay Street in Potts Point, Sydney, while their new showroom is under construction. For details of the pop-up showroom, visit www.koskela.com.au/pop-up-store
