Fish Bowls from JAGA & Vert Design

February 25, 2010

A playful interpretation of the classic fish bowl, made with dimpled glass.

A playful interpretation of the classic forms of the fishbowl, this collaborative project from Just A Glass Act (JAGA) and Vert Design features dimpled glass that changes the way you watch your silent pets.

The dimples turn the bowls into an amorphous object, distorting the size and shape of the goldfish as they swim by and altering the way you interact with your pets.

The fishbowls are available as a cylinder and classic bowl shape, and can be bought at the pop-up gallery now open at the Gaffa Gallery in Sydney, open until the end of April 2010.
Arcade 1, 281 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

They will also soon be available through JAGA ["online":http://www.jaga.com.au/].

What a fantastic idea. Innovative design so it’s more than just a “fishbowl”
