Victoria Table

February 10, 2010

Designed by Kain Lucas, the bell-shaped Victoria Table features a mesh-like steel base.

The Victoria Table, designed by Kain Lucas for Ute Australian Design, reflects the movement of water and graceful modernity. The fluid like form of the base is designed to create a sense of tranquility and calm movement.

The table has a white steel base, made from a single sheet of mild steel, with laser cut incisions placed between specific points. The steel is then stretched into a bell shape using tensile force. A glass table top rests on rubber buffers attached to the edge of the steel body. Available as a side or coffee table.

The Victoria Table was shortlisted for the 2009 Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award.
